What engine code you got?

Remember the 1.8t's that had the k04 had smaller inlets, so if you have an AGU it will be different due to the bigger inlets. I'm guessing your after a inlet manifold that faces the other way?

There was one engine that will match the big ports if you have an AGU but the mani is hard to find s/h, that faces the otherway. Otherwise get FMIC and run the pipework over the gearbox into the FMIC and then out the otherside and into the TB, just don't run the pipework to low otherwise it gets in the way of the gear linkage.

It's an agu again as its got low mileage ..

Where do you get them inlets brand new ?
You mean run the pipe off the back of the turbo ( red hose ) to the right hand side , under the tip .. That way ??
Also do you know much about 6 speed conversions ?
I've got leon cupra r gearbox etc etc if that will fit ?

Why do you want to change the inlet may I ask?
Just get xs power manifold and a K04 turbo, custom down pipe with a few other supporting mods.
I wouldnt waste my time fitting a s3 inlet mani imo.
You need the below as far as im aware

-VR6 maf
-injectors
-fmic (2 1/2" pipework)
-3"turbo back exhaust
-225 fuel pump
-decent remap.

Theres alot of money to be spend to feel the benefit of a K04 conversion but good for 300bhp.
Check out Toby's thread on here mate Iv prop missed alot more if im honest.

Run over TIP, under would get in the way of the shifter.

If I remember correctly its just a 90degree silicone elbow so just loosen the jubilee and spin it round and pipe from there, you will also need a T-piece that will feed back to the n75, from memory, possibly a 8mm branch from a 51mm pipe, I just grinded the stock steel one down and beaded it, as I'm cheap lol.

You can get brand new inlets from dealers, since its an AGU its big ports, the manifold you need is of a seat 1.8T engine, can't remember the code.

6 Speed has be covered a few times but I believe you need new CV's as well to make it work, a big job with no benefit. I also read gear ratios are identical to 5speed except gear 6, how true this is I do not know. Also single mass fly wheel conversions cost more on a 6 speed gearbox, so when the clutch goes more money. I'd stick with the 5speed if that what it came with.

I've pretty much got everything needed as I break Audi s3's and Leon cupra r's

I just wanted the engine bay to look better with the pipe work etc but looks like I'll have to get some more pipe work :-)

How do I find Toby's thread sorry ??

Cheers

Very nice :-)

By the way your running Saab injectors aren't you ? I was going to use s3 injectors or 440cc injectors can you guide me in the right way ?
I only really know what I'm taking about on k04 ( audi s3's ) kind of similar I guess ..

What I was going to use was -

K04 023 turbo
Relentless manifold
Custom exhaust system Inc Decat
S3 injectors ( will they fit on agu inlet ?? )
Wmi ( depending on costs )
Fmic

That's it upto now but like I said not too clued up on golfs

Any help much appreciated
Cheers
