Make sure it has been serviced with correct oil, people say that the cam issues come from using not correct oil. The cam lobes wear and then the tappets go and then you car implodes. Turbos go after many miles, but may go earlier, I'd say the turbo is more luck than anything. Clutches are strong but will wear after 120K ish I'd say. That is where mine is at the mo and doesn't have much of a bite point  :lipsrsealed:

So if al of that goes wrong at the same time you are looking at well over £2k. So not a lot to look out for

Oh yea, it is all the same with respect to bushes etc and all the rest of the stuff like that. I think the oil is 10w40. Just give it a proepr good check over mate. You are no fool, anything that doesn't look right. What I mentioned you cannot really check bar the turbo actuator.

Follow the TIP down to the turbo and on the rear of the turbo there is a little screw which is connected to the actuator, give that a good press up and down, it should move freely and return to normal resting position when you take pressure off it. This will give you an idea how gunked up the turbo is, possibly causing limp mode due to sticky VNT.

Press down on the red circle bit
