Was Dalglish better than Roy Hodgson though?  :lipsrsealed:

better win % would suggest yes. the fact that woy never won anything would suggest yes. I think if you wait a few weeks... you will see exactly why my next door neighbours cat is better than woy. get used to seeing woy rub and scratch his head (a little like next door neighbours cat)

Do you think he will worse than McClaren?

now that a entirely different competition!!

woy or shhteeev???

He does that I've seen him, but you just know he's not going to be around for to long??
[/quote]

How long is his contract? No doubt about 4 years, so even though the FA have saved a few quid now, in a year or 2 they will be setting Roy up for his retirement with a ridiculously mahoosive payoff! He will be laughing then!

I'm gutted that King Kenny has gone. He was my football hero when I was a kid and will always be a legend in my eyes. I've been to quite a few games this season and I've seen us play really good and really bad. It's not all the managers fault and the players have to take some of the responsibility. We were short of a jonny liner to stand in the penalty area and tap in the crosses that came into the six yard box on numerous occassions. If we had that guy (you can get golascorers cheap right ? :laugh) we would have won a few of the tighter games and been further up the league and have something to build on for next season. As it is now, we will be paying catch up for a little while longer.
......now officially dubless.

A few choice posts from the forum on Gwladrugby.com

"Best exchange I heard on Radio 5 last night.:-

Reporter - So do you think it's right that Kenny was sacked?
Scouser - Well you know la, it's like he's the king la but I can understand it
Reporter - Do you think he was the right appointment in the first place?
Scouser- Well thing is la, he's a legend but you should never go back
Reporter - So who should replace him?
Scouser - Rafa

Brilliant."

"Apropos of nothing in particular, but if you ever drive through Liverpool, you'll notice that their recycling bins are a violent purple. Nowhere else has bins this colour.

The reason why?

Apparently, the council committee were split over having them blue or having them red. The Everton fans on the committee said 'red ones won't get used down our way' and the Liverpool fans said 'blue ones won't get used down our way'. Yet they both wouldn't budge on having their representative colours used. (You'd have though that a green bin would be better, but this is Liverpool and logic goes out of the window.)

The impasse was broken when some bright spark said 'you can have red AND blue'. Hence the violent purple bins."

"As some wag has pointed out overnight, Dalglish is now unemployed to be even more at one with the local community"

"What the feck possess them to think 'right, they've sacked the bloke who was in charge, time to wonder down to the ground and meander about aimlessly'.

And then the BBC fecking film it.

FFs mun, get a grip. Really"

That table is nonsense. Claudio - I take it it refers to his Inter record -  was Chelsea Manager for 4 years!

If the maker of the chart wanted a similar time period reference, why not pick the 17 months he was at Roma.

P 56
W 23
D 13
L 11
Win% 57.14

Talk about manipulating statistics.

I think that the chart refers to last months in charge. I would imagine RB's record would be sligtly better also
