1.8t 4WD?

Is it poss to put a 1.8t mk4 into 4wheel drive? Or has some 1 done this?? Or can you bolt a 4 wheel
Drive system strate on???

from what i've read, it would be easier to take the shell and put a new engine in.

its possible to fit a 1.8t in to a 4mo shell has been done a couple of times now  :smiley:

I think the floorpan is completely different on a 4motion because of the prop ect

better off startin with a 4mo then droppin a 1.8t in

B reeding all through that post at the top on ukmk,, wot a mission will have to save a good bit of money 1st but wot a car 370bhp in a qwatro gti :)

iv just done the same with my 4mo, not hard to do at all only thing different you need to a normal 1.8t conversion is a quattro exhaust to avoid downpipe and quattro gearbox as v6 boxes will not fit,
