Xenon coming home lights

Hey guys,

I only just noticed recently that my coming home lights don't seem to be working.

I've set the computer to stay on for 15 seconds. My leaving home, seems to work just fine. The lights are set to Auto, the timer is set to 15 seconds..... Have i missed something???

On the MK6 you have to pull the light flasher before you leave the car to activate the coming home lights.

You can change this in VCDS to work the same as the MK5, ie automatic from ignition switch or door open.

You need to set the coding in the BCM as below, for automatic operation.

BIT2 set to 0 means it works like the MK5

BIT0 sets the timer to start from ignition off or door opening

I'm a total idiot. Yes that's it, i totally forgot!

Would be nice to have come on automatically, so might get it programmed one of these days.

I can't get the coding to work on my car.

I can change the method of activation from ignition off to door opening (Bit 0)...but it will not do it automatically (Bit 2)
I have to flash the lights in order to kick the sequence off.
I've tried and tried...but it's not having it. 

If I set Bit 2 to 0, nothing happens at all, regardless of a flash before getting out of the car.

Hmm...any thoughts?
