Not enough to noticeably see a comparable height drop I wouldn't have thought. The struts aren't the issue anyway, just the front springs.

do you have the adjustable plates on the rear? usually it can be lifted or lowerd using a circlip and moving the plate.

I do not know getting tracking done tomorrow so will have a look when she is in ramps where would I find it as I do not remember seeing anything like that

The circlip will be on the shock itself.. sitting in a groove.

Did not see any clip on strut when I took it apart to fit the lowering spring

No, adjustable spring plates slid up or down the outer strut casing and are held in situ with large circlip. My rear weitec shortened struts have these for fine tuning the ride height to match the fronts.

The large cup that the base of the spring sits in will be adjustable on struts that have this feature, you move the base up and down and it is locked in place by a circlip that fits in the body of the shocker.
