H&R Springs
« on: 06 May 2012, 18:25 »
Been reading through the older threads regarding spring options and I am going to go for the H&R springs. Now having looked on Awesome's website there are what appears to be 3 height options, 20mm, 35mm and 45mm.

I am suspecting the 35mm springs would be the best all round option but curious if anyone has fitted the 45mm springs with oem shocks and how the car looks and drives?

Any feedback would be much appreciated

if you look a little closer only the 25-30mm springs are suitable for the GTI/GTD

Have a few friends who have the H&Rs. Looks nice but a bit high at the rear for my liking. I would rather save up and go the coil over route. All boils down to preference IMO.

Definitely don't want coil overs, been there with my old Type-R.

Seen the VWR springs are popular, may look into them if the H&R don't sit correct, although this looks nice on them...

Thanks, having read a few more archived threads this afternoon and I have now contacted VWR for some more info and confirmation of price.

aren't VWR springs just Eibachs with a sticker on?

I've got VWR's they're pretty good. I thought they were rebranded KW's?
