Haha cause at the moment I can quite easily push the pedal to the floor with no stopping resistance at all

unless you have someone handy i would use a pressure brake bleeder. if theres an issue with pressure and blown seals you could always turn the pressure down

The post above was right . I bled my brake and they were still crap until I bled them at the two nipples on the master cylinder , then they were mint

Just make sure you keep the bottle topped up and do the two nipples on the MC and you will be OK, just resist the temptation to pump the pedal - too easy to flip the seals
