How do u get the vacuum pipe into car from bay can't find anywhere!!!


2000 GTI 1.8t ARZ, S2000 filter, DSG intake, Forge 007 dv, Catch can, R-tech custom remap, 3" Supersize Silicone TIP, Powerflex dog bone, 'The Beast' FMIC, Ultimate delete, LCR fuel pump, 3" Turbo back, K03 hybrid, Ported Manifold, S3 injectors, 80mm maf = 280bhp 270lbft :evil:

Try around the grommet from the bonnet cable.

Try around the grommet from the bonnet cable.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what and where is the "grommet".
Mods: R-Tech custom remap, Beachbuggy K250 Turbo, Forge 007 DV, RAMAIR Jetstream 108 induction filter, silicone piping throughout, R-Tech Supersize TIP, 42 Draft Stealth Catch Can, N249 bypass, Ported Manifold, Toyo Sports FMIC with 2 & 1/2 pipes, Custom made full turbo back exhaust & 2 & 1/2 " downpipe and 200 cell sports cat. BAM injectors, Turbosmart Boost Gauge, BBS CK Wheels, 312mm Brembo front discs and pads, Carbon canister delete and last of all, a liquid cube!

IIRC left hand side of the wing underneath the scuttle panel which needs lifting slightly to get access

It can do but you can always seal it with a little silicone that will stop any future problems.

I drilled a hole in the bulkhead for mine, then used a grommet and sealant as required.

I've just routed mine down the wing/door void and into the plastic grommet

passnger side under scuttle panel you will see where some wires cables go through a gromet into car you can feed through here tape your pipe to a piece of metal and feed it through and it comes out in passenger side you will have to pull carpet back slightly (not much) you then feed it behind dash etc upto where you want it to go heres some pics of how i did mine
