Double Din Head Unit
« on: 23 April 2012, 19:47 »
I don't want to pay £££ for a 'branded' double din unit, so i began scouting around! I came across **THIS** one and i am impressed with said features (dvd, satnav, tv, bluetooth, ipod connectivity, etc, etc) for the price. I think i'm gonna take a punt, but i just wanted to know if anyone else had bought (or know someone that has bought) something similar to this unit?

I'm not put off by not well known brands, as i once bought a head unit for my Mk3 Golf, from Hong Kong for a measly £55. It had USB and memory card input and at the time, the equivalent Sony unit, with similar features, would have cost me approximately £500!! It did unexpectedly stop working after 8 months, but due to the price, i just bought another one!

Cheers

Personally i would look to pay the extra for a branded unit. I have the way that the branded units operate, menu navigation etc, is far superior to the cheaper ones.
