strange that as he fitted it correctly its just if there was power before he changed it and then dropped summat got to be checked in and around that area imo just a thought mate

I have had my hand down there near the turbo and can't feel anything, but it is hard to tell.
Mods: R-Tech custom remap, Beachbuggy K250 Turbo, Forge 007 DV, RAMAIR Jetstream 108 induction filter, silicone piping throughout, R-Tech Supersize TIP, 42 Draft Stealth Catch Can, N249 bypass, Ported Manifold, Toyo Sports FMIC with 2 & 1/2 pipes, Custom made full turbo back exhaust & 2 & 1/2 " downpipe and 200 cell sports cat. BAM injectors, Turbosmart Boost Gauge, BBS CK Wheels, 312mm Brembo front discs and pads, Carbon canister delete and last of all, a liquid cube!

jack car up use some axle stands to be safe and get underneath and see if theres anything wrong it is hard to tell from the top but has he fitted it to the turbo correctly etc

thanks, will do when I can get some axle stands and see what is going on. I presume you can see alot better from underneath then

Thanks again, I have to see my mechanic friend again next week, so I may ask him if I can have a look underneath my car on his ramp  :smiley:

No ones mentioned actuator yet  :wink:

do you run a standard or aftermarket?

If its standard, it could well possibly be this as the spring weakens over time, allowing the waste gate to open prematurely etc
