i've been dog broody for so many years its ridiculous!

You can have the new one. She's called poppy and is very stupid. Yesterday I watched her walk face first into the coffee table and fall off the sofa.

More to the point. Have you seriously thought about this?  Owning a dog is a commitment for several years.

Indeed, we have a Choc Lab who is now 11 years old. It is a problem when you have kids and want to go out for the day and it is unfair to leave them locked up. I would like to go to my parents some weekends but due to having a dog were restricted. Kennels are £13 per day and all the costs do add up, vets bills (I don't know how much we have paid out over the years but it is a lot). As much as I love the dog (Molly), if I could have seen ahead, I would have persuaded my wife (g/f at the time) to not have one, selfish? maybe.

Think about it before you go and get..............................................................thats why there a loads being dumped as people don't realise the commitment.

if i could have my time again, id never have a dog, let alone 2! ( a boxer and a shar-pei) the muddy feet, the occasional puddle ( worse has been known) the chewing of fave shoes and plants, the lack of grass left on my lawn..the stealing of any food left on worktops.. the vets bills, food bills.. the lack of room on the sofa, the crying when they hear me pull up in the car..... the list goes on.. its no wonder i can only afford a mk3!!
think about it carefully they are cute for the first few weeks.do your research into lots of breeds.and for god sake dont buy a puppy as a surprise! and always get good pet insuarnce
good luck xx
