Are you running std brakes on the stage 2 ed35's? They must be scary! Bad enough on stage 1 GTI
I've run stock brakes for 3 years on my stage 2 ed30. No problems here

was also good to bump into Greg Emmerson of Eurotuner/European Car Magazine in the States who i'd last met when i took the rocco out a bruntingthorpe for a feature so he took the opportunity to have a gander at the Ed35 (he''s not sure on the wheels)

The old PVW editor? Didn't realise that was where he went...

I got it for a discount as it was used for research. I'm trying to find my way around this forum then I will upload photos etc and may be few vids. Car is on utube under chunkbs4, I think it's the only one in the uk in reflex silver?

Any pics of the tips, do they have the Edition 35 logo engraved on them?

i had a period to adjust as took my pork 4 pots off the scirocco but brakes and suspension are high on the list

the very same, was lucky enough to have a day with him with my rocco so was good to bump into him

more pics please, so VWs ploy for not putting a rear badge on is so you can stick the Revo sticker not the right side of the boot

If I'm perfectly honest, I've completely changed my mind about the brakes on my car. Previously I had nothing but problems with them (fade, warping etc) but I've since completely replaced the brakes (new discs and pads all round) just with the standard components and after bedding them in very thoroughly I must say I'm very impressed with how they are holding up.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they hold up on the 'Ring this summer.

Can I just also say, looking back a your first post that is a really nice Scirocco. I really do like what you did with it. It's pretty much how I'd have wanted a Scirocco had I bought one. I especially like the way the exhaust shows - I'm a bit weary of the whole dual exit exhaust as on the Scirocco R. The twin side exit looks really understated

in reality most of the inspiration on the Scirocco came from the GTI community, theme was always fast road, mods on it were

Revo Stage 2
ITG intake
Milltek/VWR TBE with ceramic finished tips (shallower rear box believe it or not)
VWR/Vibra Technics engine, gearbox and lower mount
Short shifter
VWR KWV1s and ARBs
Porsche 4 points on fronts and GTI rears (rear set up on roc is smaller than GTI) courtesy of SteveP
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s in Satin Anthracite
Carbon effect vinyl to anything gloss black, lower edge of bumper, badges and rear diffuser

i sort of liked the fact that not many rocco owners really got it
