Ok,some good advice thanks.

Ive started taking it with me everywhere so me mothers dog is now blind from all the pics i have taken of him
Ive read the instructions front to back a couple of times so i just have to put the thing into practice.

What i was amazed about is the fact it is wireless and i can access it via the laptop to take pics remotely.Amazed!

£11 would be well spent purchasing this:

I have just purchased one of these books as well. Thanks for the link T-J-G

Arrived in the post yesterday, the best £11 I have spent! I have learned so much and I am only half way through!

I was seriously contemplating having a few lessons or enrolling on a course before I purchased this.
Big thanks T_J_G

Tell me more about this, please? I'm interested in how it works.

Let me find the extract in the manual tonight and I will post it up as I've not figured out how to do it yet.
Loving the camera though. Really pleased people advised me to get this one :)

Heres a quick article ive found on it http://www.eos-network.com/training/wifi-workshop/ apparently you can operate it with your iphone too using an app.

Ive downloaded David Busch' guide for my specific camera and im only on page 100 atm but i will have a look tonight and see how in depth it goes into using the wft facility.

That article is about wireless tethering. You shoot and it loads onto your laptop/computer.

Or was that my skim read fail?

I've really no idea to be honest, it's easier to press the shutter button!
