Confused about turbos

Sorry I know it's another turbo question but i'v been searching for hours now and i cant find a straight answer, I have an AGU with a K03 turbo on it and i was under the impresstion that i could fit a k03s turbo straight on but if i wanted to install a K04 turbo i would have to make long of modifaction. But now i'm reading a K04-001 with fit straight on a agu without any mods, is this correct?

Yes mate the normaly k04 is the k04-023 or -022 on the bam engines etc but the k04-001 was never put on a car but is basically a k03s with better intenals to improve its output. But it has all the same lines and mounting points etc.
A good mod is a hybrid with the 001 hotside and the 023 cold side
