Not yet mate, bearings are here, case is clean, just have to wait for the technician (Triggnician) to arrive!

Still have to buy the shims and stuff yet, looking at diesel 5th gears too... Might help on a European road trip!

I could certainly take enough pictures to do one actually.

Will get loads of pictures mate, the gearbox, although having loads of stuff in there is quite simple after seeing it.

Aslong as you keep most of it together, there's only like 4/5 individual items you need to worry about!

This may change when we actually get to fitting it, but I don't think it's going to be that bad.

Bolt crown wheel up to new diff, press on new bearings, assemble back together in case, check for end float, shim to whatever tolerance it needs to be, then put it all back together!

All sounds easy written down, the practical test might be harder than the theory though :grin:

That bolt! Whhhhhy! Why was it there! Even the Triggnician didn't get that one!

New bolt is here though, didn't like that particular one anyway :grin:
