eh?  You didn't start it on the test drive?

If they're wriggling about how it's been sold and that it's been sold as seen (etc etc yada yada) then there's no such thing from a business.  You have your basic consumer rights on any purchase.  It is NOT sold as seen - that's only possible between two people, not business to person.

Get all the after-market shyte out of it - this will nearly guaranteed cure it of the problems.

You have legal rights with any car purchased from a garage, if they will not help speak to trading standards

at the moment i'm playing "the game", to be honest if they uphold their end of the bargain i'll be happy as its mint condition, theyre currently offering to pay half of any bills to get it on the road (its looking at costing about 180 ish),

however I'm going to be ringing trading standards tomorrow/going down the legal route incase this fix doesnt work.

any offer to pay towards repair is an admission of guilt. you have them by the danglies. tell the other garage that's repairing it to give you a reciept for £400 (give em a score sure they'll do it) and then go and recover all your costs. then shop em to trading standards anyway  :laugh: :evil:

Exactly and do not up the price with a 3rd party if you think you need to involve trading standards. You will be dropping other company and you in it.

well iyts back again, cuts out bob on 94 degrees, can let it cool down and then starts back up again
