Those are some savage figures mate!

I assume you have a 'newish' clutch? Was that a custom map or just a spec one?

Do you know what you're peak boost and what you are holding is?

hi ...have no idea about boost lol ...but as for clutch i think it has started slipping tonight ....was ok yesterday after remap ...could feel more vibration effect through car after remap ...thought was due to more torque ...well today it spun the wheels in second and made the engine bang in its mountings if you know what i mean ...now since that the car vibrates loads more under load ...alright other times but under load it vibrates and feels like its lacking emph ...revs not going up like its slipping bad ...thinking that the pressure plate or dmf cannot handle the torque ....what think ??
anyone got any info on uprated clutch ?? what about this kit

If you can afford it then yes, pretty much the best clutch available. That would easily handle the torque and power!

The map will prob put more stress on your engine mounts and if they are worn then you will obv feel the difference. I replaced my dogbone mount and there is a big difference, more of the power/torque becomes 'usable'.

hi
I have changed the dog bone and the gearbox mounting this evening ...seemed slight bit better but still there ...so guessing it must be the clutch or flywheel causing the vibration . ....clutch was replaced 70,000 miles back now so guessing the remap has shortened its life !! lol
def looking into that kit off darside ....looks good ..and supposed to be silent which is a bonus ...anyone fitted one ?

If you are getting quite a bit of vibration even after changing the engine mounts then if could be your DMF failing/failed...

If you get that kit I'll be very jealous!

Well the vibration effect is mostly only there when under load ...not sure if dmf or clutch lol

Right.. had another look at car today ...put it in 4th and rocked the car ...there is about 3-4 inches of movement in the clutch before flywheel moves !!! lol ...was told that there should only be upto 15mm ...also the dual mass is only good for 300 foot pounds torque and mine is 322 ...ow well .

order the kit off darkside today ...£1062 delivered  (vat was not on website as its for overseas ordering or something like that so no vat )!!! costing me a fortune this month !! lol
