+1

although I dont like the idea of everyone seeing what I look at on the net... they are more than likely to see that I like to search for a wide 'variety' of stuff on the net. Oh hang on.....

I dont for one minute think the media are also hyping this up... that just wouldnt be like them at all. Just to add... what would be the cost of watching everything that everyone did??

^ I'm more worried about the cost of this all and what it would mean to us as an ISP  :undecided: Will the government pay for a couple racks worth of SAN's for the extra data storage we'd require in Telecity? Bloody doubt it.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Just 1 step closer to slavery....knowledge is power and the more they knowledge they have about you the more they can control you.

Oh really?  You must lead a very interesting life and think you are different, special and unique.  Like a snowflake.

http://youtu.be/4X2AvfSTi6Q

and the more you think you are a beautiful and unique snowflake that people 'in power' are concerned about, the more you're going to become less like Tyler Durden.

To be honest, given the current intelligent advertisement targeting thinks that I'm going to buy Graze boxes and start to use Get Support IT support and that's about the sum total of my activities online I'm less concerned about this sort of thing than most.  Why? On the basis that if that's as smart as advertising gets (which is most of what this stuff is about) then it doesn't know sh*t about what goes on in my head.

Its not that i think im special, unique or anything else (especially not a snowflake). Just saying it according to the way i see things. The freedom we think we have here in the western world is an illusion and a deception.

Its a well known fact that the gap between rich and poor is as wide as its ever been and only getting bigger, the poor being the slaves. (Bankers making the mess, the rest of us clearing up after them).

All this ties in together with this surviellance (sp?) issue, its all about control....oh and giving Muslims a hard time.

Its been going on for years... Now they wanna tell you about it..

Are you kidding me.. Do you realise the legal hoops thats involved in tracking and checking someones internet past at present...

Say Terry Taliban lives in this country, they have been following him and caught track of posting some comments on a anti-brit site.. Do you realise they can't just "have a look" at what hes doing.. They have to build a case, apply to the courts for a warrant, then they only have a window of a said agreed timescale to look at his information and then they have to reapply...

I cannot believe that people think the government are sitting there with a big eye watching what we do constantly.. CCTV is a good idea... Theres never been a time when I can see it ever being bad..

This new live feed/access of information is not going to be free reign to find whos looking at thaibrides.. Its to ensure we can correctly track and minimise damage to our country..

Heres one for you.. You have a kid, your kid gets kidnapped and murdered by a paedophile, government have been tracking said person but had to apply to courts for warrant to check his web information after he made a wry comment on a website.. The delay in the courts allowing the check, was the delay that cost your kid to be lifted.. You find out afterwards that they if they had this information they could have possibly stopped it.. You find this out through a press story that says something like... "Police had evidence to stop John Smith but stood back and waited"... How do you think you would feel....

People need to stop thinking they are something special, this system only benefits us...
Mk3 Golf Gti:Full Milltek system and Decat,K&N filter,mk2 Cam,-1.5 degree camber shims, borbet a's, toyo proxies, hot tuning coils, brembo vented discs, greenstuff pads...Soon to have Eaton Power

mk3 16v 5dr Gti,mintex extreme pads,drilled/grooved discs, lowered, cat back powerflow system, omp panel filter with modified airbox, debadged grill, started prep for spraying, lots to come :D

I have to disagree with everything you have said there! do you think the process for getting a warrrant is a long que like when you visit the doctors?

Why should they not have to provide evidence of some wrong doing? As for your example scenario (even though its the biggest load of tosh I have ever read and doesnt make sense). The paedo you speak of is being tracked anyway..

Plus if you are not doing anything wrong they have taken the freedom of movement, expression and privacy away under a simple presumption that you ARE doing something and need to be tracked. We have a law here that says you are innocent until proven guilty...where does that come into your argument??

It does state they can read the content of non encrypted emails as well. How is that different to all the press scandal...I remember people being prosecuted for "banter" being taken out of context in the Internet and people being charged. Same could happen with email but in the real world you can be threatened by a complete d1ck of a driver like I was last week and the do nothing even tho they are sat there watching him drive on the wrong side of the road to pull up against me to threaten me and then wheel spin away

So its easy policing by presuming we need to be monitored?  Err tougher immigration laws N deportation would be more helpful, especially when threatening in public our soldiers and way of life with bs rhetoric.
