Electrical apprenticeships

Got a mate lookin gor a electrical apprenticeship and Just wondered if anyone knows of any goin preferably in the south Yorkshire area but could travel and a reasonable pay.

not so much an electrical company, but have a look into NETA, they take on around now, i went there to do the first year training of my apprenticship and loads of companies go through them, and i mean loads, we had people who worked for companies in wales and sheffield both coming up here and there company paying for housing up here for a year while they do there training.

when you joing NETA you do a test and they send the results to companies and companies say yeah we want this guy we want that guy bla bla bla so if you apply to NETA they will no doubt set you up with a few companies.

ECITB do the same sort of thing.  I done my mechanical apprenticeship through them.  Although their process is already underway and your mate might have misses the cut off date.
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

yeah i also looked into them, was going to do my elec one through them, but neta seemed less up there own arse. but worth a look into them both
