Liking that.  It is not too far removed from the mk6.  See they are persisting with monzas, guess VW aren't bothered by white worm issues.

Hw much do we reckon, shall start saving now, though I am tempted by the Astra VXR.
Deep Black Pearl Mk7 GT TDI 150.

In GTI spec, it brings an uprated 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, now producing 217bhp and 251lb ft. Power's up only marginally, but that's a substantial torque hike, all of it on tap from 1800-5200rpm.

So the next hot Golf is fast: 0-62mph takes just 6.7sec and top speed is 153mph, according to CAR's friendly faces in Wolfsburg.

Lolz for all the dreamers talking of 230bhp-250bhp +

Like all these "scoops", I'd be surprised if the actual car looks exactly like this. It does look a lot like the MK6 which is good news for us I guess! There's a strong resemblance to the latest Polo with that lower bumper too.

I like the rear lights... they're a bit Alfa-like
