Is this a joke, looks a mess, no way will it look like that.

Have to agree. The front is nothing more than a Polo lower bumper merged with a Mk6 headlight and bonnet. The side is completely unaltered over a standard Mk6. On top of that, follow the crease in the bonnet from the headlight up to the A-pillar. Towards the A-pillar, the central section of the bonnet protrudes from the side-section, almost indicative of a power bulge design. Then compare this with the farside crease, which remains the same as the Mk6. 

And then there's the back... ugly!

It's a very bad photo shop, and I don't think it's particularly reliable.

hmmmm, very interesting. Not taking much notice of the pi55artist impression, more the engine. Very similar to my my mates tt, which has 211 bhp and 255 lb/ft. Mid range shove will be fantastic..

Exactly, this article doesn't actually reveal anything about the car. They've simply amalgamated random aspects and tried to manufacture a GTI story. The artist's impression is a dodgy photo-shop, the mechanical performance statistics are simply imported from another VAG model and this is summed up by the revelation that VW are going to make a Bluemotion GTI.

Please  , at least wait until the 1st of April before making such jokes.

No, but you could imagine a "Golf Blue GTI" with the 1.8T or 2.0T with cylinder deactivation, only 17" wheels and the full Bluemotion aero undertray, no?

I reckon the artist in Car Magazine was given five minutes to design a MK7 and gone with it. All these pictures that will be coming out are nothing but a way to sell mags and make it look like they are in the know!

When I see the real car and see the real figures then and only then will I form an opinion.
