what do you guys think would win in a quater mile race

mk1 golf 20v turbo or an old school mini with a 1.5 vtec lump ( both standard engines )

Well would need to know how much each car weights and the power of the Honda engine.
Then it comes down to tyres and driver.

Is the 1.5vtec the 'standard' engine that gets dropped into a mini? I'd say the mini, they only weight about 700kg don't they?

yeah.. a lad up the road has done the conversion and recons it would kick the sh!t out of the mk1 golf 20vt.. i didnt agree aha :embarassed:
