if you were to put the pipe onto the thread inside the can after screwing it into the top there isnt a plumbing fitting that fits well, so unless you spin a thread onto the inside to put a connector in there but the restriction would be so much there would be no point making the 19mm connectors in the first place

Could I not make the internal bore of the threaded end the same as the od of the 15mm pipe?(as long as there is enough material on the fitting.

The only issue then is securing the pipe once the fitting Is in place. I could make it a "press" fit.

if your making the thread EXACTLY the same as what the can came with then a 15mm end feed straight connector is a very tight fit - wont just push on but itll be no good to cut a thread in, but i have just hammered it on and i tell you now it aint coming off!!!!

but this is no good if its needed to be unscrewed back out of the can  :undecided:

L/h/s i pit a straight on there to see for sizing but as it still needs to be screwed into the can i guessing you would need to make the thread about 1" long so 1/2" is screwed in adn 1/2" is hanging out the back to get a 45 onto it with a bit of pipe soldered onto it to get the angle

r/h/s is what it would look like when done properly

One of the issues I found is that the thread does not protrude on the inside of the can. Meaning a push over or push into connection cannot be used. So I used a pipe bender to physically bend the pipe instead of using a connector.

I found that the pipe sort of fits into the threaded hole where the connector isn't long enough to screw into. So when the connector is screwed in as far as possible I was going to push the pipe into the hole against the connector and epoxy the crap out of it (technical term)

I will take a picture when I get home to explain it better

I understand what u mean but u must be using 12mm pipe do int diameter is 10mm I think that is very restrictive but if big tone is to make the fitting he can make the thread twice as long

the ones i had made into 19mm was without any thought what so ever i went an seen chap and said can you make this into that he said yes happy days... they can be made with a bit more to them or input into how they will work better etc.... the fit with 2 19mm silicone pipes is very tight and you may struggle to get your jubilee clips on so what i did was shave the ends of my pipe down very carefully as this was all i could do at the time... tbh i think the best way around this would is to  have one fitting longer than the other it will not have your jubilee clips side by side but sort of offset so 1 fitting at say 1 inch lenght and the 2nd fitting at say 2 inch lenght this is just an example its the only easy way i can think of doing it there is another option but its just a lot of engineering for what it is and would not be cost effective hth

So here is a pic of the copper pipe I have bent. It has an external diameter of 15mm and internal around 12mm. Do you reckon the connector could be machined down to fit inside it?
