oil catch can install please help

this week i plan on installing a catch can but as a noob to the 18t im a little unsure

but what else will i need i.e size of pipeing
the big thing i have is im unsure what pipes i remove and what pipes i block off also where the new pipes will go
any pics would be great i have the agu engine 99 model

i have just replaced the elbow under the tb at a cost of £25 can i still use this with the catch can??

youl need around 2 meters of 19mm Id heat/oil proof hosing
19mm T piece
x2 19mm-15mm reducers
small lenth of 15mm id heat/oil proof hosing

if it does not come with 19mm fittings you will also need 15mm pipe closest i found was 16mm which should be fine  :smiley:
i will be putting a few pics up of my install later as i had same can but modified it  :wink:


 i drive a golf thats why im skint!!!!


losing interest in the golf and now not so skint !!!!!

how about fitting it???
what pipes come off the car and which ones do you need to block up

Red = from 90 degree bend
Green= from rocker

same can i have,get 16mm pipe about 1mtr and 2mtr 19mm also get 1 19-16mm reducer,on one of the 15mm outlets wrap some electrical tape round it to make it wider for the 19mm pipe,i made my own bracket for it and attached it to the bracket that holds the 249 valve underneath

i have an aum engine code and had to block off 2 under the inlet manifold,basically everything goes except the plastic elbow you've replaced already,all the stuff circled is what i removed
