99 agu overfueling?????
« on: 17 March 2012, 08:14 »
hi all i have searched but cant find what im after

im not sure but think my car is overfueling

its on 150k with r32 style milteck it pops and bangs when changing gear i have heard that the non-res milteck does this however it has the cat on at the moment and hasnt been mapped and i only can get get 30 mpg average driving like a grandad on the motor way to and from work 25 mile trip there.

it runs on v power

only reason i ask is cause of the mpg and the fact that i polished up the tailpipes 5 days ago and now there black as the ace of spades??

what can be causing this??? no fault codes but have notised that if i rev drop off and put foot on the pedel quickley there seems to be a delay before revs pick up same when driving can here the turbo spooling at about 2k but delays in pulling till 3k when u get a sudden rush! i didnt think there is lag on a baby ko3 (have got a ko3s to go on)
car seems sluggish when driving up the gears

im planing on having my 3 inch decat fitted soon is it worth buying a new lamba?

i have tryed to give as much info as i can but newish to newer turbo car with more sensors bit of a old skool turbo boy lol

if anyone could help be mucho greatful liam

mine is doin exactly the same since i changed the turbo, but i also had to replace the n75 valve too, so im looking at a boost leak or a broke valve, maybe yours is similar.

know what you mean about sensors as well, i still dont know what half them do

Well just having a look at my pipes few are worn but don't seem split can the diverted valve cause this is standard apart from air filter but get lots of compressor stall which suggests the dv is fubar ??

Show us a picture of the split hose mate.
Any sort of split on any boost pipes will cause you issues.

yes that one will lose boost from the manifold, look on ebay and you can get a silicone one for about £20, nice and easy to change too
