Mk3 headunit swap

I want to change the standard headunit in my mk3 to a pioneer after market one do I need any adaptors to do this

The reply i had from TWEED when i asked the same Q

''Mine also came with standard casset. Took it out and plugged a new Sony cd player straight in. You do have to swap the yellow and red power cables over though. But they pull apart and push back in.''

just to update you.. ive swapped mine in under 5 mins this morning.. straight out with the old, taking the old connector/wires with it and plug in the new connector and wires and jobs a goodun..( was no swapping of anything or anything extra needed)
