Well.. How hardcore do you want to go?

valves.
Valve springs.
oil stem steals.
volume matching.
tappets.
Smoothing the combustion chamber.
Porting & Polishing.
Compression test.
etc..

Ah ok.

Well you want to port and polish the exhaust manifold and maybe the combustion chamber  (the shallow bowl where the valves rest)

And you want to roughen up the inlet manifold.  This may seem counter intuitive, but in fact you need the rough surface to aid the mixing of the fuel and air before it enters the cylinder.

The smooth surface of the exhaust manifold speeds the release of the exhaust gasses.

As a must. Valve stem oil seals.

Valves, unless bent, can be cleaned up and reground.

Springs Should be ok.  Line them up and put a rule across the top.  If they're are all the same height, then their rates should be ok.

Tappets as well.
