Hate crime so went all the radical muslims were in London preaching about def to the non believers and english soldiers rot in hell etc funny how nothing was done about that

There is a reason why nothing was done, every heard of "fanning the flames". The so-called free speech that we have been taught is one of the pinncles of a free society can also be dangerous and used as a tool against us.

These threads bore me....nobody is right or wrong, all it is is opinions, and most people have different opinions on these subjects. The facebook police are too quick to jump on comments if they feel it to be offensive too them. Its not offensive to everyone. Not saying the man/boy in question is correct but he may have a good reason for it. I doubt it, but he might. Some with a similar opinion will. How do you think the relitives of all those civilians killed this week by troops feel about it? You can't win in regards to this subject. My opinion is of a neutral one, which means i don't care, I just want people to stop dying, people witch hunting on facebook is the pinnicle of the futility of nothingness. In reagards to posting rubbish of FB, its seems to be a medium for posting rubbish these days. I'm just away to upload the picture i took of my dinner and 23 morons are going to 'like' it.......NOT!!!

Tbh there are right and wrongs, its just a very complicated and touchy subject. As you said those relatives of the civillians that died this week and that die every week will not give two hoots about any British/American soldiers that are killed aslong as their own are dying.

In my opinion it really is that simple !

I've dealt with people who maintain that "in this country we're suppose to have freedom of speech".

My reply was "You do, now don't let the cell door hit you on the ass"

Freedom of speech doesn't mean you can just say what you want with no consequences hence why we have laws in place to control what is acceptable.

He doesn't have the right to say what he said the same as no one in this country would have the right to say all gay people should die or all disabled people should die etc etc

Hopefully anyone saying anyone should die would be dealt with by the law IMO

Not sure why the American soldier keeps coming up that went on the rampage, that is not the norm and nor should it be in any country. He obviously had a mental breakdown due to gods knows what reasons.

Erm.... i'm sorry but how is it obvious he had a mental breakdown, thats a cop out, easy excuse to explain/justify what he/they did. Maybe he did have a mental breakdown, yes possible or maybe hate coupled with alcohol just consumed him.

Hate can turn a seemingly rashionable decent person into a monster and cause them to do terrible things. The reason the Amercian soldier was mentioned was because it was the most recent in a long line of crimes against the Afgan people. I can give you another example, the "so-called accidental burning of the Quran" at Bahgram.

As for free speech, yes people cannot just say what they want and they should have to take responsibility and answer for their actions but you have to ask yourself the question, where do you draw the line?

After all one man's Terrorist is another man's Freedom fighter.
