MK 4 GTI Stereo (Halfords)

After a bit of advice, I've got a halfords gift card and am looking to get a new head unit, Does anyone want to recommend me a good one as i have no idea when it comes to brands etc, Im aware Kenwood, Alpine, Sony are reputable but any one it particular i should look at
Would need aux in/iphone compatible, single din, currently have the factory fitted double din cd/tape

For the time being yea, I drive a company car now for 4 days a week, and once the missus gets rid of her sh!t heap clio, gets a new car and stops putting milage on mine i will be able to afford to keep her. (the car not the missus) the missus will break my bank no end.

And i've always wanted to mod cars but near no experience in it so have never bothered, but my mates has his own garage now and has basicly said anything i want done i supply the parts, he'll fit for free. Cant really complain.
Will hopefully allow be to learn a bit too.
