Quick vagcom q
« on: 07 March 2012, 17:03 »
Using my laptop is no issue so,  am I better off buying a fault reader/clearer or a cable with basic software?
Cheers

If you have a laptop an OBD2 cable and vagcom software is cheaper than a code reader and can do more cool stuff.

A code reader will always be in the car when you need it.

Up to you matey

Hmmm may plump for the cable... Then I could be all fancy with autolocking and other stuff I'm yet to know about!

always handy to have a code reader in the car for the sake of 20 quid.

worth getting vagcom tho for functions and logging.
