is it really £30 at vw?????? what if i gave them the fluid i want?? i.e race fluid or would they only use there standard stuff??

I got a quote from the stealers yday and they quoted £69.50 ( not sure if that was inc or exc VAT)

Rang a local garage and they said £50, I know where I'm going...after reading about bleeding the 2 under the reservoir in particular and some people missing them do you think it would be arrogant of me to mention it to the garage when I take it in?

Yeah it must have been an offer.

If your car is 3- 10 years old they will do it for £59 http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/servicing/fixed-price-servicing

I always use the 'two man' method. A clear bit of tubing and a jar. Never let me down.
