Change From KPH to MPH

on the screen in-between my dials i have a digital speedo but it is on KPH. does anyone know how to change this to MPH its really annoying me i think i have tried every setting control but... Nothing! it may be something simple of ou may not be able to change it at all...?

can someone please shed some light on this situation please.

From memory you need VAGCOM to change it.

It is possible to change it. Do a search in this section of the forum and you will find out how. You will also see a good few other things that can be changed.

The reason it's there, is that there is no kph markings on the main speedo dial, and right hand drive cars have to have it incase we take them overseas.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I would like to do this too. I need to get a list of everything which would be good to do so I can get it done on Thurs when I collect the car, as I'm visiting someone who I know and he has vagcom

mortygt140 changed this on mine when he fitted my RNS510. Now mine shows temperature in that position and it has a large digital mph on one of the highline displays. Kph can be brought back up if needed irc. He did other things like speedo and rev needle sweep and window closing on rain detection
