Mk5 Wiper Blade Issue?

Right guys i may be missing something so simple but I have just changed my standard blades do mk5 wipers but they dont sit right so i have either fitted wrong allthough i cant see another way or these are not what i thought i have bought...
Can someone point out what is wrong or is this how there suppost to be but i seriously dont think its right?




Appreciate the help guys and sorry if im being a tool!!!! worst of it is thought il put the old ones back and now the metal groove is worn haha DOH!!

AFAIK you cant fit MK5 front wiper arms!?  :huh:

are you sure they arent m4 aero arms??? like Rich says, dont think you can fit mk5 ones....

if so you need to adjust them so when they are off they both sit lower i.e nearer the scuttle.... Although that drivers side does look a little long....?

Yes they may be m4 aero arms the guy said they were off a polo i think but they were meant to fit?  I cant see a way to adjust them?

where they sit on the linkage, the two grooved parts, you need to take the arms off and rotate the arms clockwise a few grooves (quite a few)

no idea if ones from a polo fit though..... i would have thought if they bolted on ok you'd be fine after adjusting them as surely a polo screen is a lot shorter.

lol or as jock said, maybe you hae them on the wrong side?????

the more i look the worse they look..... they aren't right at all..... disregard adjusting them, I dont think that would solve sh!t.....  :lipsrsealed:
