The fact he said something is class. Well played Nick :afro:

Although ffs, you look fine in that first photo, sounds like he was trying to be a boss (which you cant really blame him for too much? Im not sure). Everyday I'm in front of clients (who work for a very large auditing company so you can imagine how pompous they are) and have managed to pull off always wearing a stubble.

Bet you wouldn't pull off the volksfest look    :lipsrsealed:
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

It can work the other way.

I was going to a meeting at Sainsbury's Head Office in Holburn with the Chief Executive of a client I was doing some consultancy work for.  Since my ATC days I've always had immaculate shiny polished shoes.

As we sat there in the lobby waiting, I couldn't help notice his plain black unpolished shoes, and he mine.

When he flew in from Ireland later that week for a meeting, I couldn't help but notice his new shiny black shoes.

Better to set the standard Nick, than have to follow it.

I always had an issue where if I didn't dress formal for meetings no one took me seriously!
I look quite young for my age and it was always a shock for people to actually find out my age!
So to compensate I dressed in the sharpest suits and imaculate shoes I could muster!
