What a fool. Bad wording and the perfect opportunity to market to a lot of people!

Someone emailed the company owner to complain, thinking it was a scam to get traffic to his website. This is his reply:

"Hi paul, i can assure you this is not a scam, ive run this promotion for over two years now and had a steady flow of subscribers and sent out in total approx 600 free samples, however over this weekend a freebie website got hold of the details and the list grew by 11000 overnight. Ita not possible for a small business like mine to cope with that sort of increase.

Thank you very much for your interest in burley fudge.

Chris"

Its fair enough really, there was a watchdog a while ago about this repeatedly happening and messing up small business's due to the big 'offers' websites. You have lost out on 150g of fudge, he has f**ked up his entire news letter marketing stratergy and now has to pick out his previous news letter readers from the masses that don't care. Hence why he wants you to 'unsubcribe' to make it a little easier for him.

The entire world is a Money Pit, you just have to pick yours.
