Right investing in a mk6 from a mk4 soon and wanting to change the wheels from whats on there..... Got a few ideas... whats your thoughts?

If it was me....I would stay with in the oem market. I'm due to take delivery of a GTD soon and they come with 17" seattles as standard but I've managed to get some monza shadow II's for it....

I believe most on here wud say the same or find some nice replica's but with reps they tend to start to look nasty after a few months....

This is only my opinion of course.... :wink:

I would say none of them and go OEM.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Sort of agree with that, there are some nice non-BBS wheels out there but I think BBS suit the Golf to a tee.


If you want bigger than the 17's I go for 18" OEM wheels.

Gone: Edition 35, GTI Mk6, Edition 30, GTI Mk4, GTI Mk3, GTI Mk2 and my favourite the UR quattro
For those that dont know DSG is an electronically controlled dual-clutch multiple-shaft manual gearbox

I'd agree with the above. I would add another option "stick with OEM". I suspect that will be the poll winner.
