OEM all the way,  BBS are the only exception but even thenI would still prefer anything oem.

Funnily enough I have a set of Monza's to sell soon

I have to agree with Scott.

Anything other than OEM (with the exception of genuine BBS or VWR) will spoil the look of a Mk6

I guess I'm OK then...with my 2 x sets of 19" VWR, 2 x sets of 18" VWR and 2 x sets of 18" BBS

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

You are a very wicked boy  it's unfair that you have 4 sets of VWR's and I have none

The Monza's don't look half bad on an A3. Its nice to see them on another car other than a Golf as I'm getting a bit bored of them now.

^+1, I've got Charlestons on my GTD. Might be biased but I think they look good and they're easy to clean too.

Yes, they are OEM but not the standard GTD wheels. Seattle Shadows (17") are standard fitment on the GTD and the Charlestons are the 18" options.

Not that keen on them to be fair

To the original question if you want to change the wheels do it, it's your car as long as you like it that's all that matters
