Nah you just need a schrick sump and baffle combined with a uprated oil pump and an extra mocal oil cooler to deal with the temps plus wrap the manifold. All will be good after that if you running a turbo on the old block!
Emerald remap to smooth it out like I said personally I would charge it instead :undecided:
The old days people just thought the old oil pumps could hande the hot oil and instead it starved the head due to the carbonising of the oil. Sad what we know now and then are worlds apart!

Its wont need and oil cooler, It wont need a baffled sump and it doesnt need heat wrapping. My golf was (before I blew it up again) the uprated (aka better mapped) version that was bought by stealth racing from turbo technics and the exact words that came from Vinces mouth at stealth were 'this is the most power we have ever got from this setup'. And I have non of the above, the blowing up is purely my fault for boding haha

Yeah thats my interest in this, forget about the turbo parts the fact its got a badge with Turbo tech on it makes it cool in my book and great colour to add Kudos scene points!
1.5K If I didn't have my sh!tter on the drive I would snap this up, even if you stuck a recon 16V into it, then it would make a lovely fun run about

This project is for sale because the engine is fooked and he has no idea how to get it running again.

For a start, I'll bet the metering head was specific to the car and that's nowhere to be seen.

Would take quite a bit of effort to sort out engine management from Emerald.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Looked at the pictures again.

Don't see what's so lovely about the grille.
