You don't have to drive them that hard, on mine most of the power is in the mid range (although I have hit the rev limiter in 5th!)

Haaa I would if I had the space, but I would super charge it instead TBH!

I've always wanted to drop a Bi turbo on the dark side into a MK2 may be from a A8? mmmmm

Terrible project, these cars are a b!tch to look after when they are running kinda right - nevermind the random collection of parts that this car seems to come with.  :undecided:

Nah you just need a schrick sump and baffle combined with a uprated oil pump and an extra mocal oil cooler to deal with the temps plus wrap the manifold. All will be good after that if you running a turbo on the old block!
Emerald remap to smooth it out like I said personally I would charge it instead :undecided:
The old days people just thought the old oil pumps could hande the hot oil and instead it starved the head due to the carbonising of the oil. Sad what we know now and then are worlds apart!
