I don't see how it's soo difficult for the England team to be technically proficient players.

Look at Swansea for example.  I read last  month Leon Britton has the highest pass accuracy rate in Europe at 93.3% . Xavi is second.

So I don't think its necessarily the players fault, but rather the way they are being asked to play.

Have to agree with that. Although Leon Britton is more of a holding player so doesnt venture forward with the ball so much. Xabi on the other hand is an attacking mid and has played alot more passes than Leon... but yes point taken.

Although plenty of players out there who cant pass 5 yards, and just seem to be programmed to boot it up field. esp as a striker myself.. i want the ball played to feet or in the channels.

The problem is definately with the players, they are overrated.
They are good, but the team is no better than top 8 in the world.

It doesn't matter who is in charge England will never win any competitions.

I think they were right to strip JT of armband Capello should of done it, we all know JT did what he was accused of whether het gets convicted or not Ferdinand didn't just make it up.

as long as most of that team in starting England will NEVER win a big competion

The manager who comes in needs to have big balls and in my eyes drop every single one of them just to show that no one is safe, bring in the u21s for a few games to give them the confidence of playing in the first 11, then go from there.

If i was manager i would have got rid of jt, rio, lampard, barry, downing and ROONEY after he slagged of his own fans

No player is bigger than a team certainly not an international team so some of them need to be brought down a peg or 2

oh and learn some respect and passion from the rugby players when wearing the england shirt.

Redknapp would have to nuts to take on that job....the whole squad needs a shake up, get rid of all the so called superstars that have under achieved for the past decade or so and try and distinguish a team and not just a squad of players. They need a manager who specialises in dicipline and authority. Someone who basically will be on their backs for 90 minutes. Pearce has the personality but lacks the experience. But look how far experience has got you in the past. I would say give him a try, forget the big name and big wage.

I agree that Pearce should be given a shot. How else is he going to gain the experience of managing a top International team, unless someone actually gives him that chance! Good manager, and wore the shirt with Pride! Something that they will do well to learn from Pearce! You never know, by the end of his term in management, some of em may even know the National Anthem, and actually sing it prior to Kickoff!
