If we shop at Waitrose, I could easily put another £100 on top of that... their food is awesome!

There is no way anyone could live round my area for 20 quid a week.
For example, even buying a loaf of bread and some milk will cost £3.50...
£15 a week for one adult , all i will say is

Varies between 60-120 dependant on all the washing powder lunchbox stuff for kids etc. 2 adults 2 kids(one  tiddler still) 1 dog and she gets James Wellbeloved food...less crp and less crp to pick up!!! And a cat.

Plus we eat fresh fruit and veg everyday plus meats.  

4 chicken fillets £5+ = 2 meals max

The rest of you under £80 are eating carb central or frozen veg....frozen peppers are Minging, sweetcorn tastes funny, never seen mange tout or sugar snap peas frozen...mushrooms

Not by choice, we're down to £60 for 2 adults a 2 kids, includes nappies and milk powder as the baby doesnt care for titty juice. I work full time and my missus got made redundant just before she was eligable for their maternity allowance, convenient i thought.

The usual milk, Bread, Fresh fruit,Meat,  Ham for my dinners, Some Frozen things for a weekly tea, Dont eat Cr*p or Chocolate or snack things

Who are the 2 people that spend over £150 a week you either have a big family or you very fat 

we go through £30 a week, 3 adults (classing myself as an adult as i'm 20 next month) and 1 cat on a diet  
my mum is allergic to about everything so she has to eat rice cakes and natural yogurts and that costs £15 a week so me and my dad cope on £15 a week

Im not having it! £30 per week! clearly you dont do the shopping

We do about £130 a week, thats a main shop, and maybe one or two trips back during the week, plus we eat out usually a couple of times a week, so by the time weve done fuel and food at Sainsbury's I would say well over £200 a week is an honest figure, and thats pretty much for 3 of us these days

my mum does the shopping, all I write on the shopping list is hash browns  normally get potatoes, sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, bread, milk, cheese...
my dad works for walkers so get free crisps and sometimes quakers oats porridge

Alright for some, do you get fed up with eating crisps all the time? 

I fecking hate them  although when he brings pepsi or dorito's back i don't mind (pepsi own walkers and quakers oats)

Our's varies from £80-100 ish, depends on what we're buying that week.
2 adults and 2 little kids.
I take a packed lunch to work everyday, wife and kids eat at home every day.
It's the expensive stuff like nappies, baby wipes, cleaning products, fresh fruit, fresh meat, etc that puts our bill up.
We buy the cheaper Pampers nappies, but they're still a little more expensive.
It's also put up by our tastes, we only buy PG Tips tea bags (don't like other brands), never buy cheap bread (so end up buying Hovis for £1.20 per loaf), Douwe Egberts Instant Coffee (nicer that other brands), only ever buy Heinz beans and McCain chips.
So stuff we're less fussy about; tinned tomatoes (cheapest own brand), orange juice (Tesco value), etc.

We use our tesco clubcard a lot and get decent money off vouchers.

It's also usually cheaper if I go on my own, then the wife doesn't have a chance to pick up stuff from the clothing section
