was done just before i got it
ran ok then gradually got worse then wouldnt start
took it to a diesel specialist
he saw a wobble on bottom pulley so he did than new from vag
and relined the timing said it was 2 teeth out
so i got it back started streight up and did so for about 4-5 days
the started to turn over alot before starting again and now we are back to the start
it seems to be back to stage one
now when i have been booting it a bit anything over 2500k revs it rattled loudly from the engine bay
im guessing the timing has slipped
as it will start but has to turn over for about 30-seconds to a minute (loads a smoke)
so i have bought a genuine vag cambelt kit with tensioner
i believe that rattle was the tensioner as that also had a wobble on it
any thoughts guys
