Clogged heater matrix help. Thread name changed.

Anybody want to change my heater matrix in my bora for me? I will pay you to do it. Phones a couple of garages and non of them bothered getting back to me as think they can't be arssed with it. Anybody on here want to earn some cash and do it for me?

i changed my matrix when i had the vr6,this was a non aircon and it was a mother of a job to do.one guy charged me £350 to do it and i just thought feck it,gonna diy it,never again.i can help you out best i can,where bouts you mate?

c'mon guys,lets make this a forum day out and change this mans heater matrix.

Yeah it looks like a total Cnut of a job. Watched a video on YouTube of one being done on a mk4 golf wich is same as mine. Mine is air con aswell.
I just don't want to fcuk my car up by doing it wrong. Its a complete centre console and dash out job.
I'm in Dunstable.
Am willing to pay and help with the job for somebody to do it. May be able to muster up a couple of hundred notes in a couple of weeks. How much you recon they would charge at VW?

I did one on a polo 6n and even that was a pain in the arse and i had help! Good luck dude  :smiley:

Bought one of them plug in car heaters that stuck to the dash today. It don't do sh!t. Total wast of £12  :rolleyes:

As long as you Give yourself a full day, it's not that hard. Very time consuming and lots of awkwardness, but you are more than capable of doing it yourself mate. Just label any plugs that you pull out of the dash for reference when you put it back together. Also remember to bleed the cooling system afterwards.  :smiley:
