Well what els could it be? Temp read bang on 90 all he time and don't take long to get up to temp.
Ran hosepipe through heater matrix pipes and it flows fine. Both pipe to and from the matrix get nice and hot. Had a good fiddle around inside the car and all the heater dials and switches seem to be working ok.
Plus if the heater is off for a wile then I turn it on. I get hot ish air come out but it fades back to cold as if it get hot ish but the blower is taking the heat from it and cooling it down to much. Wich tells me it's got hot water through it but for some reason it's not staying hot enough for the heat transfer.

What type of matrix is it? Is it just a coiled ish pipe that has fins on it? Or like somebody said in another thread is it a 2 chamber box type thingy? Anybody got a diagram of a cut in half one?

It sounds like the matrix is clogged.
Maybe try something like this?

How can it be clogged if I have run water through it ok?
What is inside the matrix? Is it just a pipe weaving left to right all the way down and back up with fins on it or does it have chambers?

Its exactly like a mini front radiator. Just as you said it has cores snaking down then back up. I've still got my old one in the shed, give me a couple of hours and I'll put a pic up of it cut in half if you like.

Yeah that wold be sweet mate as if it's just a single curly pipe with fins stuck on it it must be clogged as its not leaking. But if it has chambers then they could have colpapts inside. So the water can still flow but it don't get hot anymore. If you no what i mean. My coolant is a rusty water colour so I will give it a good flush this week as a last try.
