I had a Rover SD1 once, Rovers half arsed attempt at a last ditch attempt at making something good like they used to, although the car was doomed, it was actually a great drivers car, well the Twin Plenum Vitesse V8 was anyway...The whole Rover/Honda deal was a complete joke, and a blot on British engineering landscape... BMW had the right idea, when they took over Rover, and killed it off, but hung on to the Mini brand/name, it was a shrewd move. The Rover 400/MG/Blah Blah Blah was, and still is nothing more than a mediocre car, If you enjoy that sort of cheap and boring build quality, buy an old Imprezza instead!Thom
talking of rovers best car i've ever driven was my rover 114 gta 1.4 8v mpi in british racing green, loved the little car after spending a month getting it on the road, biggest regret was selling it
