I'v just purchased a shark fin antenna and will be fitting it once arrived. My question is what is the best way to remove the Mk4 OEM base unit off the antenna?

yeah  pull headlining down abit from the rear end and undo a nut then will pull out  :smiley:

I am 99% sure you will need an aerial adaptor as the standard aerial lead is different to aftermarket.

Hmmm well this one says in the listing it's just a case of plug n play.. It wasen't cheap!  :rolleyes:
