I've got an oil adaptor for sale, lets you run two gauges (oil temperature and pressure) off the oil filter housing

It's this

http://rspec.co.uk/gauge-sensor-adaptors/oil-temp-pressure/multi-oil-temp-pressure-sensor-adaptor

and this

http://rspec.co.uk/gauge-sensor-adaptors/oil-temp-pressure/vw-vag-m10-male-1-8npt-female-sensor-adaptor

so you can install it under the inlet manifold on the spare port on the oil filter housing as seen here

I've had a custom M10x1.0 male to 1/4NPT male adaptor and a 1/4 NPT blank made up to reduce the height of the main body down and to eliminate a few joins too so it now looks like this bottom is to be screwed into oil filter housing, left and right are for sensors, top is blanked off)

Yes which is why I would recommend a electric gauge with a sender, you will need a remote line as well as wazzers adaptor as above.

http://rspec.co.uk/gauge-sensor-adaptors/oil-temp-pressure/r-spec-remote-dual-oil-sensor-adaptor-kit-1-8-npt

Having a remote line stops any issues with housing cracking
