I have a PC issue broadband speed is getting knocked!

Okay I'm average about 18MPS and should get 31MPS
I've rang customer service nothings wrong
I've rest Hub
Its ethernet pluged in
My sons PC hardwired just got 31MPS twice no problems!
I've tunred off
KIS
Malwarebytes
No affect
Using speed.net
Not sure where to start?

I was testing if the line was okay his PC gets full speed, mine only gets 18odd?
His is usually wireless so took his PC and hardwired via ethernet in the bedroom.
I'm just stating I've ruled out the broadband connection Bob!

I was thinking about that its a broadcom BCM5751A1
Driver Name b57xp32.sys Version 11.7.2.0 driver date 12/25/2008

Wierd thing everything was okay a day ago until I installed virgin backup storage program I've uninstalled now and ran cleaners still the same issue max out 18Mps?

Try uninstalling the application then benchmark the connection again.

try a couple of different speed tests, never rely on one!

Toph links please mate? I only know speed net?

I've just gone on to to broadcom web support uploaded the 2011 driver its not good, my lill comp have to roll back I think?
