MOT Failure advice

Evening All

Please can someone advise me if the MK2 has 2 rear fog lights, i was under the impression that they only have 1 :undecided: :undecided:

It's just that it failed on this :cry:

yeah they only have one as standard , theres provision for the other side for the european market , can join em up if you wish

Thought i was going mad, which is why i thought i'd ask the question, well thats one less failure then off the sheet, thought the tester would have known this :laugh: :laugh:

Sounds like you got a real nit picker....

Lots of cars only have one - so you don't blind other drivers...

They only have one as standard. (offside)

I made mine two though, by adding a bulb to the nearside bulb-holder and a cable connecting the left and right hand light fittings.

You need a bit of investigation to locate the correct connector on each bulb-holder!

if the car hasnt been messed with there should be a blank over where the other bulb goes ..just punches out if you want to run 2

Even if a car should have 2, so long as the off side one works, it passes.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Shocked they dont actually know that when they test cars all day :angry:
